IMO this was caused by human error didn't happen by itself.

That's why I said to get the fluid off asap. It could have peeled the paint and/or clear coat if left further. Looks like it got under and damaged the clear coat.

That's the ticket. But like said start with the dealer.

If they had bad news or great news, it's NO news unless it's in an email.

If it were me I would email then go in to follow up in person asking they email you whatever response they give you verbally.
