Default Light brake on

On my 2000 RX300 the light BRAKE have turned ON.
The fluid brake level is ok, and it stops perfectly.
I canīt see anything out of order. The car runs ok.
What may happened?

Please elaborate.

The warning lamp in the console has turned on?

If so when you start is the warning light on?

Does it turn on the first time you apply the brake?

If the answer is yes ... then check all 5 tail brake lights.

Tank you Salim,

The BRAKE light is always on. (#20 Instrument Cluster in ownerīs manual).

I have checked the 5 brake lighs and iall light.

The ownweīs manual says that the light comes on in the following cases:
When the parking brake is applied or when the brake fluid level is low.

The next step will be to
1. operate and release the parking brake.
If that does not help.

2. Have an assistant open the filler cap of the brake master cylinder. There is a float ring which one should be able to slide close to the cap and to the far end. Have your help slide the ring and see if it makes a difference in the warning light.

Most likely the float sensor is bad, but there can be a problem with the parking brake switch.

Default Brake light switch stop pad(grommet) possibly the issue

See if there are broken bits of plastic on floorboard under your brake pedal
