Arrow Climate Control Doesn't Remember Setting, Diagnosis tools point to code B1455

Hello Everyone,

I have a 2016 Lexus IS200T, Recently my Climate Control is working incorrectly. Whenever I turn off my Engine and turn it back on after 30 Minutes it does not remember the previous setting and kick into auto and I have to re-adjust the temperature setting again.

When I scan, I get this error code
B1455, Air Outlet Damper FOOT / DEF Control Servo Motor Circuit ( Driver Side )

Looks like one of the Control Servo Motor is failing? Does anyone know which of the Servo I needed to be replaced and the part number for it as there is too many on the driver side.

Also, when I went to the Dealer it also said the The No. 1 AC Radiator Damper Servo is failing and needed to be replaced. But it give me the part number 87106-30500, but that one is on the passenger side so I'm confused, don't know if they gave me the wrong part number.

Thank You

Hello, thanks for that.

Is there anyway to remove the 87050C without removing the entire Dash? Dealer quoted me it will take more than 13 hours and will charge me more than $3,000 to do it.

Also, I order the part to try to do it myself but the word pri ted on the bottom is different than the one they send me, does this still the right part?

The one in the car currently, bottom read 12V 08T 8420.

One from lexus dealer they send me. The bottom read 12V 04C 8420.

The part number is not printed on the servo anywhere so it looks correct. You have to remove the whole dash, crappy job. The only way around it is if you can remove enough things in the way and squeeze your hands in there to remove the servo. Happens on a lot of GS and LS as well.

Hey mate,
did you were able to replace this servo by yourself? Did you remove the whole dashboard?
Is it right that this servo is located on the passenger side, even Lexus scan code says Driver side?

I am dealing with the same problem. Got new Servo, and thinking maybe I can replace it by myself... need help

Thanks a lot!

Am encountering this same problem as well.... this is one agonizingly painful job for a stupidly cheaply-made component.
