Default How to: Headlight height readjusting, useful threads, etc

thanks for CL Members making a great guide with pics....going to add a bit of info and my personal experience

3. when i bought mine, the Headlights were really dim....disappointed until finding info on CL...adjusted but i over-corrected. on road trip, got a few "hey your high beams" are on flashes but they weren't so brought them down from

Left - 30 in from ground to 28 in from ground

Right - 30 in from ground to 27 in from ground

I would have thought, for a left hand drive car, that the left should be adjusted lower than the right.

sweet! i am adding some additional pics since i got mine back from Paint recently

Additional info...i used these GIANT super sticky post it notes...or easel but plain white paper, butcher paper, etc. etc. should work fine...its a bit pricey and i'm sure it can be had somewhere for less, only needed 5 sheets of 1x 30 sheets

if your are parked about 3ft from the bottom of your bumper from any wall, you should see a super bright white spot (red)






what also helps is you can see Red (red arrow), Yellow, (yellow arrow) etc. or colors of the rainbow. in the blue square you can get a better view of the color spectrum that helped with leveling process
