2016 is 300 AWD. Has anyone with putting bigger tires has experienced any problems with traction control or the weight differential, every tire shop is telling me that I should stick to stock size. Stack size is 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear. And I want it to go to 225/45 front and 255/40 rear. Anyone running this on their 300 awd? And any issues? Thanks.
Some have gone even bigger with the tires than what you're proposing, without issue.
Once the circumference is relatively the same front to rear, and you're not trying to install giant monster truck tires, you'll be fine.

Well that would be assuming the wheels are also not staggered. @Smoke24 what wheels do you have?
My personal recommendation would be to stick to stock size unless you have a specific reason for up-sizing.
Generally speaking manufacturers already go as wide as they reasonably can with tire sizes in accordance to the width of the rim.
I dont think the OEM wheels are staggered front to back, but even if they are theres absolutely nothing wrong with going square. I prefer doing so for more even grip and ability to rotate tires.
@Moisture Based on the OP's original post, the wheels are staggered as he quoted the tire sizes that commonly come on the staggered F Sport wheels...or the staggered 18 inch option wheel on the non F Sport model.
From the sounds of it the OP would like a taller tire on the stock wheels, which usually means they live where there are crappy roads...as that's the case when most are looking for taller tires.
While 235/40/18 is a taller and wider tire than the stock front wheel, a 225/45/18 is even taller, but no wider than the stock front wheel.

That's right. You can compare tire sizes on Willtheyfit.com for a rough estimate.
