Had it been announced the F-Sport will only be available on the 350? That is news to me. 95% of today's F-Sports are 300's.

The only press word I heard for the 2021's was the IS350 will only come with the F-Sport package. Doesn't mean the option won't be available on lesser models.

Even my CT200H F Sport (Prius) gets its own brake booster part # vs. non-sport. Maybe they're tuned slightly differently for a "sportier" brake feel. I don't know. My CT also gets machined polished wheels and a black painted roof in F Sport trim. F sport variants of the 3IS have also got high friction pads that are made in germany (BMW's supplier--also an E46ct first)

suspension wise, usually revised dampers, sway bars

tires usually summer rubber w/ larger wheels

it's just an all around no brainer. i've said it before for the 3IS F sport, but the money is worth it for the seats alone.

F Sport with the 14-16 IS also got you LED headlights.
You may be right on the other stuff, but non-F Sport also had LED headlights available, have them on my ‘14.

I didn't say non F sports couldn't get them. I only said F Sports came with them. Read carefully =)

I don’t follow the other models,
so a bit of an off topic question.

Is the RC scheduled for a redesign
to match the IS? Tail light bar?
Non-integrated exhaust tips?

No industry chatter for a freshened RC.

Man those wheels are ugly, looks like OEM knock offs. Paint is completely flat without metallic depth.

Kinda a weird review, he didn't even spend a min or so with the new 10.3 screen or show us car play or put it in reverse, does it have a back up cam? Also kinda let down that Lexus could not have added a power trunk close switch on the top of the trunk, even BMW has that on the 3 series. Step up to the F Sport which is going to cost more, it's missing some features already on other brands. The caramel leather color is really nice but they over did it by adding it to the dash, it would have looked classier without that.

So now we know why there are no drive reviews yet.

Ok now I watched it. This guy is no good at this is he. Gave some misinformation too.

But still was nice to see it in raw video, not enhanced photos. Still liking the 17-20 much better.

Some article I read today (on CL) seemed pretty convinced ISF was coming in NOVEMBER? I Didn't look into it further figured someone was on top of it.

it was announced during launch video that the only f sports available are the one with the 311 hp V6.

For 2021, the F Sport trim is only available on the top IS350 model with its 311-hp 3.5-liter V-6. The engine and drive configuration options otherwise carry over, with the rear-wheel-drive IS300 coming with a 241-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four, the all-wheel-drive IS300 coming with a 260-hp version of the 3.5-liter V-6, and the RWD or AWD IS350 coming with the higher-output version of the V-6.

Not only does the F Sport package offer more aggressive exterior styling, it also comes with unique 19-inch wheels with larger rear tires, a cold-air intake system, a limited-slip rear differential, an F Sport exhaust, and sport seats with heat and ventilation. We'd also opt for the optional Dynamic Handling package which also includes an adaptive suspension system.

Ordering the V-6 allows the IS to shine, and for 2021 it is the only way to get into the F Sport model, which brings numerous performance upgrades such as a limited-slip rear differential, staggered 19-inch wheels, and an optional adaptive suspension.

Press release...

Fast, Fun, Ferocious - Putting the “F” in F SPORT The IS F SPORT lineup is restructured in the 2021 model year, as F SPORTs will only be offered on the IS 350 powered by the 311-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine. F SPORT features a host of visual and performance cues that immediately set it apart, including a unique front bumper with functional aerodynamic enhancements, rear bumper, grille surround, rear lip spoiler, rocker molding and more. Along with F SPORT 19-inch wheels, a unique center cap and larger rear tires for added performance (265/35R19), they are also equipped with a cool air intake with sound generator and an F SPORT exhaust and diffuser. In addition, unique F SPORT badges adorn the sides and rear of the vehicle as well

Reduction in unsprung weight and the lighter forged BBS F Sport wheels is impressive.

I was afraid they were going to use Circuit Red instead of the Rioja Red. There is no way I could get that car with that red, it's way too loud. It's nice when you first look at it but not for long term use. lol

New here! Just ordered my 2021 IS350 AWD. Lands in November-ish. Thought I'd share the options spec sheet with you guys! There's a ton more pages but if you guys have any questions I can probably answer them if that information isn't already out there. These specs are for Canada by the way.

I won't know till exact pricing till beginning of October but should be an additional $1000-1500 from the 2020 model year apparently.
