Headlight shutoff delay timer setting
Okay. Mine seem to stay on longer than 15 seconds. Where is the setting to adjust it downward from the 60 or 90 seconds or whatever it's set at downs to minimal 15 seconds? I looked under the "vehicle" list but none came up. Someone said "set up." Is that on an older model or is there another group of settings somewhere, other than to the left of the steering wheel on the dashboard.
Maybe I'm missing something here. When I first got my car, the setting was that the headlights remained on for a certain amount of time even with the car off. Not a big fan of that, but I think factory had it set at 30 seconds before it auto shuts off.
In the infotainment screen, there is an option (I believe under Vehicle Customization) to automatically turn off the headlights when the car was off and I open the door. I changed it to that setting a while back. This way, every time I have the car parked with the car turned off - whether in my garage or in a parking lot somewhere - the headlights turn off without any time delay, whenever I open the door then get out of the car, . If I were out and about, I then lock my car.
