Installing GS-F/RC-F front lower control arm bushing?

Installing GS-F/RC-F front lower control arm bushing?
Hey all, I'm ready to purchase the GS-F/RC-F front lower control arm bushing. Would any auto shop be able to install this? So far I've only got a quote from one and they're asking $350 plus alignment... seems high, but I can't do it myself. Any advice?

I just ordered a set of these as well and waiting for them to arrive. It should be just an oem swap as far as I know. I’ll probably end up doing it myself. I’m going to use the YouTube video my specone as my guide.

just need a floor jack and jack stands. The tools as well. You could always get a mobile mechanic, but that price sounds about right for labor and alignment. I do plan on getting the bushings on, putting on new tires, and do the alignment for good measure.

Yeah...$350 plus alignment is definitely high.
$350 including alignment is still high.
Jack...jack stands (2)...basic hand tools...torque wrench...you're pretty much good to go.
Having said that...some may not be comfortable working under a car that's on stands...and that's totally understandable.
If you take it to a shop it should take less time than it would to change oil/filter on the IS...less complicated too.
Your location will really dictate market price though...around me a decent alignment will run you $80-$100 CAD and swapping the bushings should be about $100 CAD.
Maybe the shop that quoted you thinks you have to press the bushings out of the bracket...maybe they don't realize it's just a bolt-on part.

This will get you to the point of removing the old ones at least. Then just install the GSF/RCF ones and reassemble in reverse order.
