DRLs stopped coming on
tonight I noticed my drls didnt come on when I turned on my car, 2016 200t f sport.
I turned on my headlights and they came on, checked the settings and they are on. Turned car off/on and they will only come on with my headlights.
any suggestions?

No suggestions just adding in case a fix applies to my issues as well, or others who may come across.
Sometimes the DRLs come on with ignition set on (without starting), sometimes when car starts, and sometimes not until I put into a gear to drive. It's pretty inconsistent last time I checked.
They do however always come on without headlights needing to come on.

i know a lot of ppl, myself included, have attempted to figure out ways to disable DRL.. you seem to have figured it out!
Ive come up with a fix. called Lexus, bumper to bumper is 5 yrs or 50k lights are coverd, let dealer fix it🥂
Isn't there a switch in the signal stalk that says DRL off? and/or in the infotainment settings you can shut these leds off that way as well.

Yep I think that was it! I thought the DRL/Off meant drls om and low beams off, the next option is auto, then parking, then lowbeams on. the drls come on once vehicle is in drive. Ive never had a car where there is an actual switch to turn off drls.
Ha, my hunch was right I guess?
