This morning when i turned on my AC it was blowing weak air then after 5 mins it stoped fully , even that i can hear the sound of the air trying to go out but its like tha gate is not opening , i tried to change the mood many times but still not working , only when turned the mode of the windshiled i can feel the cold air coming out from there but when i change the mode to the normal front vent , the windshield vent closes and the front one doesn't!!
What can i do to reset the air conditioning to reopen the front vent gate.
plz help I'm burning here !!!

Can you check to see that the compressor is running? Is your cabin air filter blocked? Have you checked that changing the flow direction mode button is actually changing anything?

That can't be fun in Dubai. I do know 2014s constantly see AC problem posts quite frequently. I'll start researching to see if i can pin down what Lexus changed if anything from 14 to 15 w/ respect to the AC...

Looked... i don't see any changes... it could be one of the servos isn't opening... whichever is responsible for opening the path to the front vents.

The car has 6 servos total.

I'd guess #8710630550 or #8710630540

But i could be totally off. so don't quote me. those are expensive pieces and likely difficult to get to. you're probably best going to the dealer here.

Read some other threads. People said Lexus replaced their "temp doors" and it fixed it. For some, it was the servos. for others, it was re initializing the servos through software. So it's one of those three. Unfortunately this seems to be a weak spot for the IS--the ac. disappointing on a Lexus. The other people had 2016 models too...
