windshield replacement
Hey fam. Got a crack on windshield and wanted to know if we have rain sensors or land departure camera that would affect replacement. Not getting OEM too spensive for me right now. Going to a small business, anyone know what i need to look out for? Any problems that might occur?

You will have to get all the sensors recalibrated by either Lexus or a 3rd party windshield installer who has the equipment. Mine is going in to Lexus tomorrow to get the windshield replaced (I was told that the recalibration was $279 - although that doesn't matter to me since it's all being covered by insurance).

When I got mine replaced last year I was quoted about 750 for a new windshield, then I'd have to go get it recalibrated for another 200ish. Dealer quoted me 900 for a new windshield including calibration. OEM glass vs Chinese stuff. For the price, I went with dealer.
mind you this is all Canadian prices

That's ridiculous! Again insurance is paying for my replacement, but Lexus is charging $1,500 (including recalibration). Still very expensive but not compared to your quote!
