Lease-End Damage Assistance
I went on eBay to buy it and wanted for shipping
. For sure price of it on eBay was much cheaper than what I got deducted for it. It really depends on the dealership honestlyHa! Good moves!
Thanks so much, rld14!
Tomorrow is the final day of my lease and I'm very busy.
No chance Monday lease turn-in would be permissible, right?
Thanks as well!!
Leased a Black / Black VW GLI SEL Manual; loving it so far!
Can't wait to move the vanity plates over.

You've been most courteous and generous throughout.
I returned the car to a dealer near me today.
Will update all upon receipt of the final statement; crossing my fingers.
Approx how long will it take for the dealer to decide if it keeps the car or not?
If ever in need of another Lexus, I will absolutely reach out to you, rld14!

I believe it was, but I wasn't privy to same.
I brought the car to the dealer, removed the plates and registration sticker, did a quick walk around with the preowned manager, turned over the keys and was given an odometer statement.
That said, I called the manager a couple weeks later who told me he wouldn't be keeping the car for his own inventory, and I've since seen the car turn up on the website of an out of state used car dealer that likely bought it at auction.
Would've been cool to see it around town, but guess not.
About to turn your car in? What sort of damage are we talking about? Feel free to post some photos.
Also note that one of my wheel was visibly bent, albeit minimally.

I already have a new purchase so I am just looking to turn it in since the miles are up... I paid the whole lease up front so I was just wondering if I need to go through the whole inspection process and have someone come out and look at it before I bring it in. I have a couple small door dings, a 2 inch scratch, and tiny knick on 1 wheel. Other than that, still looks new.
Celebrating Lexus & Toyota from Around the Globe
It effectively gives LFS two opportunities to identify damage!
No doubt they scrutinize the vehicle and you're left with no choice but to repair.
Good luck!
Thanks!!
