There is a file for all 2014's and a separate file for all 2015's.

Thank you so much Sasnuke! I just installed this on my 2015 IS350 F-Sport with navigation and had no issues. Would you happen to know what issues the latest updates fix? Quite annoying that Lexus stopped providing updates on their own site.

The updates, in this case, are year specific, not model specific.
There is a file for all 2014's and a separate file for all 2015's.

Some 2015 – 2017 Lexus vehicles equipped with navigation (version less than V1##8940) may exhibit one or more of the following conditions:
Software update date does not display
“Calculating” message displays on the map screen without displaying street name and remaining distance
Unable to guide a route on the Home screen
Black display screen
Bluetooth® disconnects intermittently
Some 2015 – 2016 Lexus vehicles equipped with navigation (version less than V1##8910) may exhibit one or more of the following conditions:
Voice Recognition is Inoperative
Same XM channel icon is used for different channels
iPod scroll stopped changing by tune ****
HOME button does not work
Reset while making a turn off of the highlighted route
After correction of text in Quick Message15, the corrected text is displayed in Quick Message13
Navigation system reboots intermittently
Some screens with clock information show 12:00 as 0:00.
Some 2015 Lexus vehicles equipped with Navigation (version less than V1##8871) may exhibit one or more of the following conditions:
Navigation system becomes frozen/has no response or slow response
Resetting of the navigation system
iPod Error is displayed with Apple device connected to the USB port
Song Title is not updated when using Siri
Display is blank after a Bluetooth™ Audio device is connected
No audio sound after completing a phone call
Navigation system resets when playing an "Audio Book" on a CD A software update is now available to address these conditions.

Depending on what previous version of the software you had, the update is supposed to address the issues listed below each version:

I used a Centon DataStick Pro 8GB with a fresh format to FAT32. You can't use a stick that's too big or the vehicle won't recognize it...i think 8gb might be the max.
The file was the only thing I had on the stick in the root directory...it was the only thing at all for that matter.
I went through the General menu icon to the Software Update to initiate it.
If it finds the file, it will show you the old and new file on screen before it asks you to start the update.

It said that the update is only for navigation and not the os, is that correct or could it be that I have the most up to date os already?

I don't think there has been an OS update for 3IS...I could also be wrong...I didn't have my car from new.

Michael, ill call you 2morrow , yesterday and today im busy replacing KNOCK SENSOR for my Toyota Solara, and found out coolant seal leaks, the V6 Toyota Engine knock sensor is damn takes time sounds easy but not that easy.
