Is there a way to update the operating system? I'm currently at 12.8050

 

What kind of issues were you guys seeing? Seems like certain cities or addresses won't show up. Is this covered under warranty if I take it to the dealer? Thanks

 

I did the upgrade today on the 2015 IS 250. I followed the video instructions to the letter and update was fine. It does take a while so make sure you do it where you can run the engine on idle for several minutes. No visible changes noted post update.

 

Could you inform me how did you install the Arabic language support? I appreciate it very much...

 

Sorry I didn't clarify more. The car comes with Arabic pre-installed since it has the Middle East specs.

Interesting...it would appear the update has been taken down.
I have the update on a USB (once I find the USB lol)...if you're in the GTA, PM me and I can give it to you. The update takes only minutes to complete.

Sasnuke - can you make sense of which is the latest and which we should install in our Canadian IS3s?

 

It doesn't matter for this kind of update whether the vehicle is US or Canadian.
The file is: 13LHENNA-AB01_0004.kwi (so neither at the link provided)
However, Lexus just released an update May 1st, 2018...so there is even a newer one. I guess I'll be updating myself.
