Default 18x9.5 +40 squared

Does anyone have experience running 18x9.5 +40 w/ 255/35/18 up front on lowered suspension? Any of you wheel fitment gurus think I will run into any problems lowered on Tein Stechs?

Thanks

Should be fine cruising. High chance of rubbing in the front with those tires when approaching bumps and dips. Rear should be no problem.

I'm a bit concerned about going up drive ways. Don't want to pull/crush a fender.

R0shiro, a member here is running 18x10 square, think he's running 235's in the front on his track setup

i could see 18x10 with an offset around +30 fit with fender mods, but running 235 tires defeats the purpose of running 10" wide wheels

You should check out his thread. I've only seen 2 is's so far with legit track setups. That's his, and evasives 2jz swap. Some tires run wider in 235.

Isn't it that when you go to tracks you need to stretch your front tires so your side walls doesn't flex much. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Tires were not designed to be stretched, especially from a performance standpoint. 235 on a 10" is too much. I've seen drifters run a slight stretch (i.e. a 245 on a 10") in back because it takes away the shoulder of the tire and makes for easier breakaway.

For a track car it sounds straight up dangerous.

From where I stand you'll need a 5mm spacer up front cause you're probably gonna hit the knuckle or upper control arm

Thanks for all the feedback. Guess I'll have to rethink this.
