Default 235/40/18 fronts and 265/40/18 rears

Hey is anyone running this set up on their IS350? I am looking to get the Michelin PSS. My car is on coils and I just wanna know if these sizes would fit.
Is running 235/35 and 265/35 better?
Any other summer tires you guys think that are better?

Tirerack has some online resources in the support area that helps calculate the max for your rims and also to keep the profiles in check.

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiret....jsp?techid=46

Rears would be fine but I'm not sure about the fronts and whether you would get fender rub or not.

On a side note I just put on a set of Sumitomo HTR A/S P02 and really like them. It's a 5 Belt tire so the ride is a little more robust. I feel like they are better than the Potenza RE970 A/S Pole Position they replaced. For about $450 for a set of 4 delivered, I'm not complaining.

It's also depend on what offset of your wheel. If you are on stock wheel, you won't have any problem at all

On stock wheels, I used to have Michelin PSS 245/35/18 tires up front with no issues.

Most tire manufacturers do not recommend putting 265 width tires on 8.5" wide wheels.

Since you listed being on coilovers, I assume you're dropped some. You will encounter rubbing up front, not to mention the MPSS run 1 step up wider (example, a MPSS 245 rear tire is the same width as a 255 rear tire in another brand). Rears should be close, but the fronts you'll need to remove the wheel liners, man-handle the liners by pushing them back the best you can, OR raise the car (boo!).
