Has anyone here modded their headlights? I've been too chicken to bake my headlights and DIY it in fear of destroying $1,000+ equipment. I'm trying to replace the amber LEDs with white ones.

I've been looking at this place called oneighty that does custom work on their headlights. Anyone try them out?

This might not be what you're looking for but you can actually unpin the parking led using this guide by specONE: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/bui...ml#post8989411

I haven't had the ***** to bake my headlights, and I've done 3 full projector retrofits, albeit on cheaper cars. I would sooner retrofit the led drl before opening the headlights though.

Only thing I'd do is switch the LEDs for HIDs and the lense. Can't stand how dim these headlights are

I wanted to go the other way (switch my HID for LED lights), but the OEM price is $1800 per headlight. That's not including any harnesses I'd need to order too. I'd expect the HID headlight assembly to be similarly expensive.

I dunno iSuxeL... the LED's seem super bright to me. I drive a 2015 S550AMG for work which has the brightest HID's I've ever seen and these LEDS are def in the same class as those, while they def are not beating them it's at least in the area.

I'm not sure about which headlights (HID/LED) but Mark from TRS said he talked to a few people in the industry, and the 3IS headlights are permasealed. So maybe you need to cut open the housing and glue it back together, instead of heating the glue. I wish our headlights were like the GS headlights, just a few screws.

I read that our LEDs are 2400lms which is low IMO
