My buddy lost my key recently and this is the only way to go about it if you don't have the other key. The previous key has to be erased and new key added.
1. Tow car to dealership
2. Get a new FOB and key from them...
3. Get the key cut and FOB programmed.

I own a shop so I got a little discount.... but it ran me around $540 (buddy paid) with towing fees.

Horrible situation!
