Default Will PPE Headers increase drone?

I currently have ARK Grip Exhaust and there is minimal drone. I know if i get headers the car will be louder overall, but will it make the drone much worse?

Do you have the full cat back ARK exhaust or just the axleback?

Not too sure about drone. Headers do tend to make for a very raspy tone in the higher RPMs, at least the ones I've heard on this engine...

Drone is minimal with my setup. Joez Full System with PPE headers no high flo cats. Drone is more noticeable at lower rpm, with some noticeable tones at higher rpms nothing obnoxious though.

If i am not mistaken both systems would connect into your cat which connects to the headers. So ur basically looking at stock cats for both set ups just different names....if that makes sense.

So if we were to get the headers, we would switch back to stock cats? Thus making our exhausts axle-back? I dont know if I understood what you meant.

Would the flow of products be similar to what i wrote below?

PPE Headers --> Stock cats --> Axleback ark exhaust
or
PPE Headers --> Catback ark exhaust

between the headers and exhaust are a cat. ur full exahsut system runs to those cats which connect to the headers. Meaning if you replace the headers with PPE they would still connect to the cats which are connected to your full system...

Yea after some searching I found my intial comment to be correct. We have 4 cats. 2 are on your stock headers, two then are in your full system. The headers will not have cats deleting them leaving you the 2 exhaust cats stock. So just like ur diagram not to confuse you lol. If you do some searching you may be able to find and clarify some of your other questions. But your main concern was the drone. If this is a main concern of yours than pick up the high flo cats that ppe sells and it will help. But like I had said I enjoy the rumble (its not over the top) and quite low at high rpm cruising. But like anything else if ur on the gas u cant avoid having drone lol.

^^^wrong.

If you have the ARK full catback you no longer have the secondary cats from your stock exhaust system. If you install the PPE headers, this effectively eliminate the primary cats, therefore you will be running cat less (no cats).

Stock system: Primary cats ----secondary cats-----stock resonator----stock muffler
ARK catback system: Primary cats-----ARK system----ARK resonator------ARK muffler.
PPE and ARK system: PPE headers (no cats)------ARK pipes (no cats)----ARK resonator-----ARK muffler..
