Ah nice! I purchased one of the connecting cables off of amazon for that install. My only concern is that when I tested the blue ground wire, I picked up a reading of 0.01 multiple times. Do you know if this will cause any issues?
im not too familiar with electronics and hardwiring wires so I just want to double check before I do something wrong, haha. I appreciate any advice!

Was it 0.01 ohm? It's normal for a copper wire to have some resistance.
Yea it was 0.01 ohm. Okay cool, my buddy that was helping me install it was concerned that it may be connected to another unit that was causing that resistance. I really don't know much about these types of things. Really appreciate your help and input bro!

Hey, is my rear view mirror for my 2018 supposed to have a compass in the glass so i can tell which direction i'm driving because i don't see it.
I looked at the owners manual and i tried pushing the buttons to turn it on/off, but no luck.
Wondering if the guy whom installed the windshield tint did something screwy with it.
Can someone tell me how to remove the rear view mirror?
here you go
But, does your car have factory Navigation? On older Lexus, I noticed that cars equipped with factory Navigation will remove the Compass in the mirror while if your car is not equipped with Navi, the compass will be in the mirror.
My 2014 Lexus IS350 w/ Navigation and Mark Levinson sound system DOES NOT have a compass in the mirror.

.
Thanks so much for the instructions!
Yes my car has Navigation and Mark Levinson.
If i did have a compass, would there be some sort of blackish mark in the mirror where the compass would be located?
My '16 RX 350 has Navigation, but regular stereo system and has a compass on rear view mirror. Don't remember if there is a blackish mark in the mirror for the compass.

Hello, everyone! I just recently purchased my first 2016 Lexus IS200t f-Sport. I did order the blendmount and wiretap for my Escort iX. I was wondering what wire colors are positive and negative on the mirror? I have no navigation or the Mark Levinson sound system.
Just posted this in another thread, but I found success using a product that already had the molded connectors for my mirror (2015 RX350 / 3RX). I tried the pin-style adapter but for some reason it didn't work for me.
Hope this helps someone! The fit is a little tight with the length of all these connectors, but it all kind of folds up out of sight. I didn't pry anything to tuck cables; maybe I will at some point.
Hi Guys, I am knew to this group chat and i am trying to install Pssport500 radar detector to rear view cable and finding it hard to find live and ground cable. This is Japan import vehicle. Can someone please assist me. Thank you
total time to install my dash cam was less than 3 minutes from start to finish. Remove mirror cover plate, remove 12 pin connector, attach adapter, plug-in 12 pin connector to adapter, plug in usb cable to camera, re-install mirror cover plate
"That was easy!"
