Default Local Houston Lexus Tuner

I’ve been running the D3 performance tune for about a week now, definitely noticed a difference in throttle response. I didn’t get that raise from 6800 to 7200 rpms for some reason, one of my questions to D3 that haven’t been answered in email. Anyway, I am running catless PPE headers. Coming here for anyone that may know a local Houston tuner to get rid of my P0420 and P0430 codes? And will getting that tuned out mess with the tune file from D3? Apparently they dont offer any tune revisions that support removing the codes.

It is illegal to operate your vehicle on public roads without catalytic converters. A tuner opens itself to a hefty fine for disabling any emission related equipment from a street driven vehicle. That includes modifications to the ecu code that operates your vehicle.
EPA has been very tough on tuners, if the EPA gets abolished then we can go ahead and continue to destroy our planet without fear of getting a fine for our contribution to the planet destruction. We are in good hands towards that goal.

D3 Performance had a shop in League City I think, although I've never been there. Unfortunately, I've never heard of any other shops here in H-Town.

Good luck with your search and please share any findings with the rest of us.

Yes they do, I was able to get in contact with them and pick up my tuner at their shop instead of having it delivered. Anyway, still no luck in my search for getting it tuned out, haven’t heard back from D3 either. But I’ve been looking at installing O2 sensor defoulers and hope it’ll work the old fashion way, have them ordered. Will update later

Thank you but I’m no white night, if anything I’m a conquistador.
I’m 60 years old, my concern for the environment is not so much for myself but for future generations. I’m going to sign off from earth at some point sooner than later. I’ll do my part and try to create awareness till the last breath I take. I don’t understand why anybody would remove emissions components from a vehicle for hardly noticeable performance gains that are meaningless on a street vehicle

I cant imagine that you havent tried this, but I think the 7200 rpm for D3 specifically is unlocked in manual mode only. Again I figure you have already tried this but if you haven't give it a go. Some other tunes do not require this method and work in both manual and auto mode. GL Hope you get it figured out.
