So, I got a 2017 Lexus IS200t around 2 months ago, and on the first day, I got into a deer accident. The car was in the shop for a month and probably wasn’t started a lot. I got it back about a month ago. During that time, I installed an Injen cold air intake. After the weather got cold, I noticed the car had a hard time starting—it would finally catch after about 5 seconds. After that, there would be a fuel smell during the cold start. I’m not sure if this issue is related to the mod, the weather, or something else with the car. I’ve seen online that it could be a battery issue, but I’m looking for some reassurance since I have no clue. This could be from the weather from all i know but needing some help.

You probably jacked the MAF sensor up. That is about the on;y thing I can think of with an intake install.

 

No it was fine im thinking its a battery issue as it intake is fine when i put throttle and boost
