Default Oil Pan Replacement

Hello Everyone,

I'm an idiot and decided to do the oil change on my 2015 IS 250 AWD F-Sport. It's been a while since I've worked on a car but I do have experience doing my own maintenance on vehicles. However, this was the first time I attempted to do anything on my IS 250... Lo and behold, I lifted the car by the oil pan and severely dented it. I purchased a used replacement pan and an oil pickup tube (bottom assembly and gasket) in case that also needs to be replaced. I've searched online for the proper lift points from the front and also from the sides. Would anyone happen to have a diagram?

Also, I need to remove the old gasket from the used pan I purchased which I will attempt to get as much of it off with a wire brush and/or razor blade. As for the bolts on the pan itself, does anyone happen to have the torque specs and also the torque specs for the pick-up tube? This is indefinitely not something I want to screw up. Also, is there anything else I should be on the lookout for to ensure I don't starve my engine of oil?

I attached some photos for reference of the pan after I attempted to lift the car from this point... Feel free to let me have it, I'm ashamed for not taking the time to look for the proper lift point.

Thanks in advance for the input!

I don't recall it making any noise. I just looked underneath and noticed it was crushing the metal plate so I immediately put it down knowing that I was lifting from the oil pan... smh.

At least you stopped and didn't make a hole in the pan haha. All the bolts look easily accessible so the replacement shouldn't be too hard.

Pan is off and I have accessed the damage (pictures below). Now the the problem is what do I torque the replacement pick-up tube to? Anybody know? I can't seem to find anything for this model... I can only imagine it would have to be in inch pounds

Thank you for this! I torqued everything down to 10ft-lbs and added the Toyota 103 FIPG gasket to the pan and also torqued those down to 10ft-lbs. Below is a picture of my gasket. Hopefully, I did a good job and it doesn't leak. Gonna let is cure overnight and add oil tomorrow afternoon, let her run and check for any leaks.

Thank you all for your help!

EDIT: Looking at the torque specs, it looks like I may have OVER torqued everything by ~2ft-lbs... Does that mean I need to redo everything all over again? I'm gonna hate myself if that's the case lol...

I think you're fine with what you torqued them down to.

Don't take this as definitive but a good general guide. Always use factory specs when possible.
