First I want to ask if anyone with similar year of car is able to use their iPhone over USB with use of the steering wheel controls and with the infotainment screen displaying song info, because I'm not even sure its possible? Below is my problem:

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max that will charge and play music through the USB port, but I can't use the steering wheel controls and the infotainment screen remains blank when iPod is selected (no controls, no song name, no album, no album art displayed). I've tried different cables, restarting the phone, and resetting the infotainment system. Is the iPhone too new for the Lexus system? Any other suggestions? My next troubleshooting attempt will be to buy a brand new OEM Apple cable but other than that I'm out of ideas.
