Default iPhone/iPod Integration

Anyone know anything about iPhone/Ipod integration with the CT200h?

should be just like any other new lexus product. USB jack for the iphone with cable where you will be able to control and choose songs through the navigation screen, or bluetooth audio through the iPhone.

Also there is a nifty universal device holder.

Looks good. I really like the idea of the device holder. Is that a standard feature?

I've got a test drive lined up for the CT200h in two weeks time so I'll know what to look for.

Do you mean the iPod integration is standard or the device holder is standard. I don't recall seeing anything that resembled that iPhone holder.

Also, the thing that might interest me most is the Bluetooth audio integration, which means I should be able to stream Pandora from my phone to the car without taking it out of my pocket.

^^ the device holder is standard. As for pandora, the Lexus system is not that advanced yet and does not support app streaming.

I don't mean app streaming, I meant I can send the Pandora audio from my iPhone over Bluetooth to the head unit. The iPhone is running the app, not the car.

I was told both the CT and the Prius allow this. Please correct me if this is a wrong assumption.

Someone else can chime in, but on my 2011 RXh with bluetooth audio, pandora does not work. Any time of sound produced by an app will not work as far as I know. Unless they changed something on the CT...

My 4Runner allows the ipod, Pandora, and XM radio apps over bluetooth streaming. I believe youtube even works!

Huh...... I didn't see that holder in my car. Maybe its hiding somewhere. There is a slot right where that holder is shown, and my phone rests perfectly in there. It would be cool to have that holder for ease of changing stuff on screen. However, that thing would almost completely block the heated seat function switches.

the Lexus website says "electronic device holder" is standard. Perhaps I am mistaking that for the slot...and the universal device holder is an accessory

All the one's I've seen have to holder installed. I assume that you can also remove it if you don't use it, at least I'm hoping that. I'll know for sure when I pick mine up next week.

My device holder was still in it's box inside the cargo net. I'm not sure I've ever use it, but it's nice to have.

BTW - I had no problem setting up the Pandora streaming to the CT's head unit. I was using an iPhone 4 running OS version 4.1.

Yes I was just about to say. I would like to retract my previous statement. Pandora will work on Lexus head units. There was an issue with my pandora app that prohibited it from BT streaming
