Whats an average price to replace the front windshield of a 2023 ?
Tried calling various dealers and got all kinds of crazy pricing. Anywhere from $900 to $1900. Everyone tells me a different story of why the price is what it is, almost feels scammy. lol
One thing they all do agree on is they are back ordered for 3-4 weeks.

Price range is probably because some places are quoting for a Lexus brand windshield vs off brand, or whether it’s compatible with driving aids. If your car has auto sensing wipers, radar assist cruise and stopping, etc your windshield will need to be compatible and the sensors recalibrated to the new glass. Why not use your insurance?

Well for what its worth all the dealers said they use Lexus glass. Trying to get a quote is another thing, almost none of them will do it even though I tell them I am strongly considering using insurance for this.
Check for my Is350 F sport 2018 last week and it was 1000$ CAD + tx for the original OEM one. Should be around the same for a 2023 i guess. 1900$ is too much imo.

Lexus doesn't make glass. Many manufacturers are using PGW and Pilkington glass. They just stamp it with their logo, which makes it "OEM" and charge godless prices for it.
Does your insurance cover glass 100%? If they do, why not go through them? Some ins companies won't even count it as a claim against your policy. I know on my old company would only pay for OEM glass if it was within 2 model years. When I looked into Lexus glass, it was about $900 to do it.

This is what I was going to do but none of the dealerships I contacted wanted to provide me a quote.
