So my 2013 is250 radio is on its way out, turning off randomly. I don’t not have navigation or one of the “premium” radio setups. Just the basic radio with basic speakers. I have been looking into dash kits for a few days and i found a few possibilities. I’m ruling out those Chinese Tesla screen types, to much negative reviews on them. So its either the metra or the scosche models. I did see one where you’re only replacing the radio itself but I can’t actually find it for sale anywhere ( might be someone’s custom made dash kit) but i do like the fact you’re keep OEM air conditioning controls and clock. If anyone knows where i can find it please advise. Now i know there is a lot of these threads out there but they are from years ago and most of the links aren’t valid anymore and also I’m pretty sure the manufacturers has probably fixed any issues, that statement might also apply to the Chinese Tesla versions but I’d radio have a trusted pioneer or alpine double din. All that being said anyone have any recommendations on which dash kits is best. Picture and or videos are definitely welcome. I’m looking to purchase asap. Any help is appreciated.
