Default Radio dash kit FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!

My buddy is at CES in Las Vegas and he sent me this pic of the new double din dash kit for the Lexus IS250/350 WITH HVAC controls but buttons look ugly. Only took them 7 years WTF? I would have got this before my Fly Audio if it was out. Oh well

While it is interesting, it looks horrible, haha.

I just think it would be hard to pull it off without it looking like junk.

Looks similar to the kit for my Honda which also incorporates the HVAC controls. That one looks bad and sells for around $250. I would imagine that this kit would fetch around $500..... I don't like the look of it either, for the record.

I personally don't really like it but that's just me.

Here's my custom double din dash kit.

Yeah, the buttons and the finish, I can't look at it without making a weird face.

One of the better double dins I've seen. Nice! Here's my custom single din. Honestly I think anyone interested an aftermarket install should either do it themselves or pay a stereo shop to do it. The "kits" look so cheesy....

I'll save my opinions until I see it installed but I don't have very high hopes...

I think I'd rather have something like this:
