I cannot find any rx400h above 2008 year on ebay, from 2009 only 450h

my wild+crazy guess is 2009 they moved they hybrid production equipment from japan to to the canada manufacturing plant in prep for the production of 3rdGen RxHybrid to be in canada.

Similar situation with the GS450h, there was no 2012 model - the 2011 carried over and for 2013 the new generation was released. As to why, I can only guess.
It may have to do with certain countries that have regulations or norms that state you can’t sell a “2010” vehicle if it was built in 2009. So the RX450h was sold as a 2009 model in some countries and a 2010 in others - those countries where it sold as a 2010 left a gap. But once again just a guess.
Also, the RX hybrid was built in Japan until 2015-2016.
