Saw a set of 4 new Denso TPMS from eBay for $134 shipped. Would these need to be programmed to my car? Seller said he doesn’t think so but just wanted to make sure if you have experience before I buy it. Thanks.

If you have the Techstream program and cable (sold on Amazon and eBay) you can clear the light. If you drive for more than 1 hour straight, the light will come back on . I would do that on my 2005 4Runner. I would think our cars are the same. I have 228,000 miles on my TPMS. I know any day now I will have one or more sensors die. Just hoping they last till I get rid of my car later this year.

Any TPMS sensor installed in a vehicle that it was designed to work in, will need to have the sensors programmed.
