The IS series is snug for dash space. I found this cell phone mount useful in my IS-F
I got tired of CD and Suction Cup phone mounts and came across the NATO Mount.
It is small and much less obtrusive than the other mounts.
I did end up watching the majority of the video and noticed that it was installed on an ES350. I was looking for mounting ideas/options for my particular Lexus as the interior in the video is vastly different than the 2nd generation IS. Thanks.

I have an ES350 and IS-F, both present a challenge for amount, therefore both are included in the video
Thought I'd share my setup. Used the mounting portion of an Aukey vent mount with some 3M double sided tape to create a permanent phone mount. Doesn't block anything and it works well for me, changing songs and looking at directions with a small glance and the location is right beside your hand so you're not really reaching and police won't see you touching your phone while you're driving(or atleast haven't been caught yet)
