Default Lexus IS 250 skid plate?

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a replacement for my front under skirt.
Let a friend borrow my car and I guess he pulled up too close to a curb and when he backed up it almost ripped off my entire front bumper. After taking a look at it my front underskirt was hanging off and it was basically demolished. I saw a couple threads on here where a guy might've made an aluminum one and if it comes to it I might just make one like he did. If anyone has any info about that I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you guys!

a skid plate is a metal friction plate that goes on the floor for your heel by the gas pedal so that you don't skid when moving your feet. So I got confused for a minute.

Anyways, the plastic part under the bumper can be removed and probably would never negatively affect your car.

You could also fit your own piece of plastic there and rivet or tapscrew it on.

No, you're thinking anti-skid plate. OP is right, skid plate is attached underneath to take the hits and avoid damage to undercarriage, etc. I have skid plate under the front of my Huracan, just in case I forget to use the lifter. It's made from black Delrin® (cutting board material), you can't even tell it's there.

With that said, that lower piece is replaceable and removable. Just repair/repaint it.
