Default '07 IS250 AWD Won't Start

Hello I have an 07 IS250 AWD that will not start when aplying break and pressing start button.

With in the last 2 months I have replaced the battery, then a month later the alternator went out, now about 2 weeks later after she ran great, the car will not start, everything lights up when you press the start button. but engine never fires.... Any Ideas??

Have you completed "all" the scheduled mntc on the car,..i.e. change plugs?

First, try disconnecting the battery negative terminal, go have a coffee and reconnect. Try starting.
You've just reset the ecu.

Second, you will need a code reader, or a laptop or a shop with Techstream software to diagnose.
If it's cranking and not firing (you either have too much fuel,...wet plugs are a good indication) or no fire signal from a crank sensor (intermittent). No gas or no fuel pressure/flow. All are possible.

Thank you for your help, Its not even getting to the crank step. Its like you are trying to start it and Not pressing the Break down,,but I am pressing in the break and pressing the start button. And nothing,, All guages come up and display says check complete. Display says check VSC. Another note the start button changes from red to green when pressing in break.,, so we think that means the break sensor is engaging, I have had the Oil changes with maitenance checks every 4k miles... everything checked out at the time of service.

Again Thank you for your help. My last resort is having this baby towed to dealer on Monday, trying to trouble shoot prior to spending the $150 tow bill and $129 systems check by dealer.

Can you get it to start at all? Will it start and instantly die? if so, I'd put money on the fuel pressure sensor most likely being the culprit. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...lp-asap-2.html

I feel like a broken record this week.

OH,...it doesn't even crank?! As Zmon suggest it may be a sensor that is telling the computer that "something" for a good start is not functioning and it will not crank! Check all fuses related to engine functions and if not at least a code reader/Techstream reading.

Try something for me. With foot on brake and accelerator full pressed at the same time, does it crank?

Nice Info Zmon! Sorry I missed it the first time, alot of wheels turning at the time trying to find out, but I truly appreciate your help... I ended up having it towed to a mechanics shop and having him do it for much less than the dealer... Your info is very much Appreciated. Thank You Sir!
