Oil catch can
Starting to experience rough idle when i start the car at first. I know about the carbon build up issue and I was looking into getting a oil catch can. Any recommendations as to which to get? maybe one that fits the 2006 IS250 AWD the best.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Here is a DIY I wrote a while back for RR Racing's catch can originally for the IS F. It's the biggest/best one in my opinion, works amazing, and holds a lot of oil so I don't have to monitor it. Hope this helps.

You need 2 catch cans, fyi. You need to intercept BOTH PCV hoses from the valve covers to the intake tract, SEPARATELY. The one on the intake filter side of the TB needs one, and the one on the intake manifold side of the TB needs one. Do not get one for both.

Also, you can make one of these yourself easily with a norgren filter for an air compressor...

Add in some 1/4 NPT fittings and some 3/8 hose from autozone and you have a catch can for less than 1/2 the cost. Only thing you have to do is fab up a bracket.
