on startup, the warning light comes on and then turns off. i recently had an oil change and i cleared the maintenance req. light but the warning(an exclamation point) comes on at start up. what can it be? i've checked tire pressure. its fine. if anything, pressure might be higher than required.

 

If it turns off right when it says "check completed," that's normal. Correct me if I'm wrong here but, that's just your car doing it's normal check that it does when the engine is started. It's sort of like when you turn on your car and all of the warning lights come on until the engine turns over and they all turn off. Nothing to worry about

 

yea, it shuts off right away. never noticed it before.

 

Yeah you got nothing to worry about, the car always does that. However if you did have a problem then not only would the red triangle light up, but the car would also give you a message indicating what it is. Such as when you have to perform oil maintenance or have low tire pressure.
