i jus bought this car about 2 weeks ago

for some odd reason i think the owner b4 me
deactivated the CEL. jus seem like that kinda person
where is the fuse for that light located

also is there any way i can trigger the light to come on w/o effecting my car ..
and that will be ez to get rid of the light ..

i jus wanna check to see that it works so i wud no wen i have a problem wit my engine

i came about this thot cuz wen i start my car for that split sec all the lights in the cluster on i notice the CEL light does...

idk it might not even suppost to some on ... but nevr hurts to no for sure

 

our check engine light is the trac light flashing, and the engine check light. usually when people disable it they pull the gauges off and pull out the bulb. You can check by removing the cluster and checking the back for missing bulbs

 

Ok cool .. Wud it turn on wen I first strt the car ..: at least for that sec wen all the other lights turn on

 

Yeah, it would turn on when you first start the car with all the others

 

Damn ... Um some one tell me how to remove the cluster
