Question Auto Level HID help

Hey this is my first post. I just picked up a 2008 IS350 lux HID (F sport - spoiler, intake, sway bars, springs and shocks all around) very low miles... Love the car

Anyway my question is when I start the car the headlights rise to what appears to be level and then rises quite high. (almost like a 2 stage thing, and no the high beams aren't on)All of my searches have shown me how to raise the lights, but I'm not sure if lowering them is necessarily my problem.

So do I just adjust them down? or could something be off with the auto level. (I know the AFS and auto level are working, because I can see them move slightly on the back of another vehicle at low speeds while turning or accelerating)

Any advice is much appreciated

-Nick

Are you talking about when you turn the headlights on and they sweep up and down to calibrate themselves?

Also be sure to turn the horizontal gears the same amount and same direction as you turn the vertical gears. There is a thread that shows where to find the horizontal gears.
