Why not go all-out and replace the whole roof with a carbon panel? Or the next best idea would be to order a roof and headliner from a Canadian market car without a sunroof.
I'm not a sunroof fan, so have toyed with the idea of replacing the glass itself with a carbon panel. Maybe down the road when I finish some other projects.

youre not going to "save weight" by removing the sunroof itself lol. your roof is steel becasue you have a sunroof.
im sure lexus is the same way, but when i had a wrx, it was the same thing. the standard wrx with no sunroof had an aluminum roof vs the ones with sunroof it was steel. so the wrx with sunroofs in turned weighed more..

Even if it only 15-20lbs, that would be nice to add to a list of over weight reducing mods.
Are there Carbon glass replacements out there for sale or are you guys being hypothetical?
