I find I get ideas from browsing the forums. Sometimes you read a product review and you get so engulfed in it you want to give it a shot yourself. And then once you get one thing, you want to take it to the next level. Eventually, you realize the cost of a product outweighs the benefits gained and you begin to draw the line. At least for me that is.

Okay. I read all of your answers and pretty much you guys are saying that pay my bills first. Or whatever is important and use extra money on my car.
And yes I'm doing that except I want to stop lol I want to be average. I want my car stock but at the same time I don't want it to be stock. I'm mostly 75/25 - 75 on modding my car
Someone said that building a car doesn't finish in one day
And yeah that's true and it kinda helped me slow down on spending my money Thanks for that. Lol

Btw I still have a long way to go
I still need
Exhaust , intake , navi , subwoofer and rims

Some of the build threads on this site have genuinely made me feel sorry for the poor sap who spent $20k+ on mods for his car (only to make it hideous and ride like *****).
I feel the same way. And all those mods mean less money when selling the car because you would have to find another "poor sap" who likes the same mods that you did.

If you feel the need to mod your car, maybe it isn't the right car for you in the first place.

Not even once. But seriously, it probably depend on the person. The only mods I did was sway bars, after market nav, and remote start. I'm considering intakes and headlights, but probably won't do them. I think if you start weighing against the money involved and the results you'll get, you will mod more wisely ... maybe.

Bicycle parts are expensive. Carbon fiber bike rims can cost thousands!
