I would choose A, and here's the reasons why. First of all you get a car that you can keep just for mod's or as a daily driver if you already have a car for mod's. Then once your tired of it or decide you want something new, you can always turn around and sell it and make some money towards whatever you want to buy next.
If I choose B after the year is up in my leased Bugatti Veyron , any other car would feel too plain. It would never measure up to it and I obviously can't afford one because it would be in my garage if I could .
If I choose C I would probably end up killing myself. Getting back into a car after driving a formula 1 car for a whole day would make me depressed. I would definitely get a hell-a-lot of speeding tickets because I would always try to relive that experience.
If I knew the world is coming to an end( very possible in my lifetime.) option c.
If I see a big climate change, I would lease a lamamborghini gallardo for a year, option b.
All other times, I would choose option a. For under 60k I can get a used porsche 911 turbo and mod it up to 600hp. If I choose a lexus, it would be a is300 with a 2jz supra turbo motor and mod it up to 800hp or have a IS-F with some nice upgrades.
