My mom's 2009 IS 250 was in an accident where her side view mirror was ripped off and door dented. Somebody suggested being careful when repairing the car and try to avoid non OEM mirrors. What arguments can I use with the insurance company to insist on an OEM mirror should they decide to cheap out? Anything else I should be on the look out for when getting the car repaired?
