I find it hard to believe (according to the other "recall" thread) that the repair will take will 7hrs. Somehow I'm thinkng the above "cam rattle" and the actual recall is two different things.

Anyhow, I'm going to confirm with the dealership tomorrow, as I'm at 68k miless and need this to get sorted out before the 70k mark.

Sorry to bring up old thread but any lingering issues if I don't get this fixed. I have about a 1 second rattle but I'm more concerned that it will eventually cause car/engine to break down. If it's only a noise issue I can live with that

My dealer didn't think it was worth $2400 to fix this. Said it was just a noise
and wouldn't fail.
