I just bought a manual 07 is250 and i cannot get it into reverse. I try and go to the left of first gear but can only get into first. Am I missing something here?

The sales guy looked at me weird when I tried to push it down to reverse (s2000) Anyway, not like an S2000. I just hopped into a 350 and called it a day.
