It seems the 250 gets maybe 4 mpg better on the highway. I wonder how much AWD affects highway MPG. I should have asked for that info as well. What do you all think? Maybe a 1mpg hit for AWD?

I don't think 70-75mph is meaningful really in those results. But I'll just break down realistically what I get.
60-75mph - if taking a longer trip, 100-300 miles - 24-26mpg.
0-60mph everywhere else - 19-22mg.
This has been during the winter months. I can usually push 340 miles before I start to see less than 20 miles on my range, which for me is fine. If fuel economy is a concern, the IS250 is really better. I know people post some reasonably high numbers in mpg for the IS350 but keep in mind on the highway while the gap may close if you're in the city you're going to see a larger difference.
I always say though if you can't afford to put gas in the car you drive you probably shouldn't have it. I have a friend who bought a 5.0 Mustang and couldn't afford the gas. 6-months later ended up getting rid of it. Don't be one of those guys.

I just did a 300 mile trip from Chicago to Davenport, IA and back and averaged 24.5 with cruise control set at 75 for the entire trip. This was on winter tires in 37 degree weather.
