Default 21.7 MPG avg

21.7 MPG, is that normal for local driving? I don't floor it at all.

I get 21.9 driving locally, so there might be something wrong with your car.

Nah, that seems within a possible range. Your description is way too vague... 250 or 350? How many miles on your car? Is that an average for a tank or for the life of the car? What do you define as local driving? How many miles per trip? How light are you with the gas?

All these things matter and getting 21.7 MPG seems to be what the sticker on the car would say, right?

On my 250 on the freeway but with lame traffic so going no more than 45mph, and with the AC on, yea thats what I get for mpg.

I've been averaging 20 mpg in my IS350 which just turned 615 on the odo, with a pretty even 50/50 split of freeway and city driving. I don't drive slowly either What are you driving, a 250 or 350?

For a 350, sort of.

For a 250, it should be a bit better.

You're using Premium fuel, right?

I see in your profile you are driving a 250 awd.

You're right on the EPA MPG average.

Considering your car is rated 20 MPG city, I'd say it's normal.

Yeah, but every time you see the speedo's red LEDs light up, your gas mileage takes a major hit.
