Default Light bulb replacements

I just got my 2is. Ive been looking around for replaceing my drls but people are saying im not going to be able to keep my normal high beams if i do that so im wondering is there a way i can get the white/blue drl color and still use my normal high beams? Also what bulbs would you guys suggest i get for low beam hids with maximum output. Links would help, thanks.

The best you can do without sacrificing your high beams is to change the little city light that's in the same housing as the high beam to a really bright white LED or something. Not sure if you're in canada or CA by your location but if you're in the US you can also go to a dealership and politely ask them to turn off your DRL's

If you have HIDs you dont really need high beams IMO

I don't know how much fog you get or if you travel rural back roads with no lights but high beams DEFINITELY come in handy around those areas. Definitely have our fair share of them here in the northeast. Besides I need to signal the guy in front of me to get out of the way every now and then

I am using 102 SMD LED's for DRL's and high beams.
They still put out a good amount of light for high beam use.
