Default Day time running light ( Low Beam )

Dose anyone know what we can replace our low beam lights with?
I find the low beams are not bright enogh. I purched a set of Sylvania H11LL

But the socket was not the same as the stock Lexus.

The bulb type you require is 9005. Looks like from doing a quick google search it looks like you yourself a H11.

For me, I gotten myself a set of PIAA bulbs. Overall it is brighter but could be more brighter because if I recall correctly, in DRL mode it is running at 30% power. It is only when you use your high beam it goes to 100%.

Also if I recall correctly, H11 is used if your car did not come with HIDs.

H11 is the for the low beam headlight, you'll want to get 9005 for the high beams/DRLs. Here's a post with a listing of bulb types for our cars. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ting-mods.html

What goes in the lowbeam depends on if you have HIDs or not.

If you have HIDs it's a D4S... H11 is correct for non-HIDs though. Neither is your DRL though, that's the high-beam bulb.... it's not really supposed to be "bright" since it's the high beam running at low power.

Personally I just had my DRLs turned off.

If you think your DRL's (which is actually your high beam, a 9005 bulb, running at low power) aren't bright enough, you can replace them with the LED DRL module from V-LEDs or just turn your lowbeams on for DRLs.

The OP was trying to get bright bulbs for the DRLS and thought it was the H1 when it should of been 9005 because the car came with HIDs for low beams.

For vehicles that do not have HID for low beams will use H11. This is probably rarely seen because since the dealer typically brings in cars which do have HIDs unless someone may have ordered a vehicle without one as in a very basic car.
