Default push starting the car problems

My car is starting to not start immediately when I press the push button . I fear one day it might not start at all..any advice on what it might be? No emergency or alert has displayed on the dashboard...

Dead key battery perhaps. Push the key fob against the start button with your foot depressed on the brake pedal.

If you havent yet replaced the key battery, its a pretty safe and cheap option. According to your profile, you have a 2008. Change the battery and see how things go.

It could just be your battery terminals. I was having problems with it not starting sometimes, checked my battery and the terminals were all corroded. I cleaned the terminals and haven't had a problem since.

if not battery terminals then def. your keyfob battery, my car told me the battery was low and I said "oh it should be fine for 2 more days....." the next night the car wouldn't start because remote was completely dead, i held it right next to the push start button for 5 secs and it started, put new battery $2.67 and everythings perfect!
