As the topic states, car will not start. Radio, power, etc all that works but i only get the red light on the push button and the starter won't even click. I did disconnect the battery earlier and i know i thought i read something where the key has to be paired back with the car again after the battery is disconnected? Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is an 08 IS250 awd.

 

Do u think your remote battery is going?

 

The car battery is weaker and go replace new battery unless if they cover on warranty

 

Are you depressing the brake pedal far enough? The starter button light should change from orange to green when you do.

 

most likely your KEY FOB's battery is dead so the button will not turn green since it does not detect it. Have you ever changed the KEY FOB's battery? Did you see a warning message that the KEY FOB's battery is low on your dash?

One other thing you can try is an emergency start. You must place your key against the button and push for a emergency start up. Check your owners manual and look for a detailed procedure. Good luck
