Default Rear air vents

I have an 08 IS250 that I picked up earlier in the year just now noticed the vents for the rear seats barely blow any air out of them no matter what speed the fan is on. Is this normal?

Yeah, that's normal. I'm pretty sure that there's only one set of fans up front which push the air through the console to the rear. These fans aren't powerful enough keep the pressure up for the whole thing as I understand it. But yeah, don't expect huge flow coming out of the back ones.

Are you a little person? I don't even have room for those kids of shenanigans in the front seat. I try to refrain from such activities as the seats are perforated leather...

If you were to close the front vents, you would get more airflow in the back. But that's not going to cool the car down any quicker. The cold air blowing up front eventually makes it way to the back anyhow so....

Oddly, my vents actually were DECENT until I removed my center console and put it back in.... Now it barely blows.
